Job description

SUVI Global is looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead a mission critical program serving our customer! Qualified candidate will possess knowledge of O&M services, Global IT and Infrastructure in the client space.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the execution of O&M services supporting global IT infrastructure, edge computing, and NetOps for mission-critical operations.
  • Manage geographically dispersed personnel operating 24x7x365 in high-stakes, secure environments.
  • Develop and implement strategic operational plans to optimize network reliability, system uptime, and end-user performance.
  • Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics are met or exceeded across all operational areas.
  • Oversee and improve IT system engineering, software/hardware deployments, and local network distribution efforts.
  • Manage infrastructure upgrades and technology implementations, ensuring alignment with DoD cybersecurity and compliance standards.

Personnel & Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a large, multi-disciplinary workforce across global locations, ensuring effective coordination and communication.
  • Provide technical guidance and performance oversight for engineering, cybersecurity, and IT operations personnel.
  • Ensure all team members meet DoD 8570 and DoD 8140 certification and other compliance requirements.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and adherence to ITIL and SAFe best practices.

Stakeholder & Mission Partner Engagement:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between mission partners, DoD leadership, and contractor teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Represent the program in high-level meetings, strategy sessions, and operational briefings.
  • Provide regular program updates, risk assessments, and performance reports to government stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve operational challenges and security concerns in coordination with mission partners.

Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure DoD cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management best practices are integrated across all operations.
  • Oversee incident response and escalation protocols to maintain operational security and system integrity.
  • Maintain compliance with ITIL, SAFe, and DoD 8570 standards to optimize IT service management and agile project execution.

Qualifications
  • An Active DoD Top Secret with SCI eligibility is required for consideration
  • Bachelor's Degree Degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related discipline) and 12+ years of experience in Program/Operations management supporting DoD programs at the COCOM or enterprise level, managing complex IT environments. Masters degree is preferred.
  • Experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams supporting mission-critical operations 24x7x365.
  • Proven track record in IT operations, NetOps, and enterprise infrastructure management for government or military environments.
  • PMP/PgMP certification (Program Management Institute) required.
  • ITIL Foundation certification required.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required.
  • SAFe Fundamentals certification preferred.
