Job Summary:

Technical Program Specialist (TPS) position is an integral part of RH Aero technical program management operation. Technical Program Manager (TPM) team uses its technical expertise in engine tooling and other Ground Support Equipment (GSE), to provide technical support for programs and services globally, across RH Aero products life cycle, from new product development, sourcing, sales to order fulfillment, post-delivery support and aftermarket services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor performance trend of technical issues resolution processes. Represent RH Aero and voice of customer during engine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) technical issue resolution processes such as Supplier Problem Report (SPR), Customer Problem Report (CPR), Supply Chain Query (SCQ).
  • Use tracking tool such as Tool Query Report (TQR) portal or SPR/CPR/SCQ tracking lists to perform analysis of issue resolution processes.
  • Build and nurture work relationship with OEM engineering / program management communities such as Support Equipment Design and Engineering (SEE) and Customer & Product Support Organization (C&PSO) for assigned engine programs
  • Represent TPM in RH Aero Operations Review rhythm
  • Monitor and analyze trends where technical issues affect customer fulfillment. Identify causes and determine rectification actions priorities. Lead TPM efforts and work with responsible OEM counterparts to drive improvements
  • Monitor demand for TPM support and deliverables. Maintain up-to-date TPM customer commitments fulfillment demand and plan tracking sheet. Determine priorities lineup and drive planning and actions to satisfy customer needs
  • Monitor demand for TPM reviews/inputs, such as CE/CA certification, Wt & Dim data, using ERP system such as Epicor. Work with respective TPM engine program owners to take timely action
  • When faced with conflicting priorities, provide effective and timely communication to TPM concerned parties, to facilitate cross-function teamwork toward solutions that would benefit our customer and the business
  • Continuously identify needs for digital tool that will help achieve more efficient and high quality TPM data operations in repeating processes. Present proposed solutions and/or business case.
  • Maintain up-to-date engine tool lists source and output files. Use LEAN methodology to manage life cycle of tool lists and related technical files, from creation / importing, to revision and archive/removal.
  • Accomplish other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Demonstrated working knowledge or equivalent experience in maintenance of aircraft/engine or aviation systems product.
  • College degree in technical, business administration, business analytics, or 5+ years of progressive experience in relevant area.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing/sourcing/order fulfillment operations is a plus.
  • Project management, planning, facilitating, and collaboration, using strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated good problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to details in large data processing.
  • Computer literacy MS Office suites, CRM (Salesforce) and ERP systems (Epicor).
  • Ability to influence others by ability to articulate purpose and needs, benefit to customer and business with desired outcome.
  • This role is based in Mason, OH.
