How you'll make an impact:

The Senior Technical Program Manager will be responsible for the planning, delivery, and execution of large, complex initiatives spanning multiple domain areas including Marketing, Martech, Data, and Data Products & Services. You must have a proven track record of program management of enterprise-wide consumer-facing projects, including command of roadmap planning, discovery, product & business alignment, cross-functional interdependencies & implementation. This role will integrate program management best practices with your proven ability to impact decision making processes between product and engineering stakeholders, and ultimately drive the execution and delivery of revenue impacting/cost saving initiatives for our products that service our diverse marketing and personalization experiences for all SXM consumers. In addition, this represents an exciting opportunity to be a member of a large, experienced, high performing team of technically-focused, enterprise-level program managers, with a focus on enablement and execution. We drive, execute, and own those "big boulder" initiatives that are transforming and modernizing our platform, products, and business, and are thus met with much visibility across the organization.

What you'll do

  • Manage the delivery of large, org-wide initiatives that involve significant technical implementations, span across multiple engineering and product domain areas, and provide commercial value that requires orchestration across several dependent components of our business, product, and technical platforms.

  • Build program structures across specific domain areas by initializing and leading discussions with engineering and product to ensure the appropriate kickoff of business and technical directions, and clear ownership within our processes & ways of working.

  • Build and influence collaborative partnerships with other technical program leads, product operations leads, engineering leads, and product and business owners.

  • Build and manage comprehensive technical timelines & milestones that include deliverables across various engineering and business areas, and ultimately map into revenue impacting objects and workstreams. This includes the ability to drive discussions that confirm and refine these timelines as the road to delivery progresses.

  • Focus on risk management by leading both tactical, cross-functional discussions that lead to mitigations, as well as up leveled leadership discussions to enable appropriate decision making in order to activate mitigation plans.

  • Present program health to GVP+ levels, demonstrating ownership and accountability across various cross-org functions, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Martech and Data teams.

  • Lead large forums of cross-functional technical team leads to continuously provide clarity and communications of strategic, tactical, and process changes, and generally facilitate continuous alignment in a fast paced environment. Be a thought leader in how to execute with efficiency in a changing, innovative environment, participating in process improvement working groups and ultimately acting as an agent of change.

  • Demonstrate strong architecture literacy and understanding of system dependencies across platforms while cultivating a culture that rewards the aggressive pursuit of innovative solutions to problems.

  • Apply technical understanding to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, anticipate pitfalls, and identify when solutions may impact downstream systems.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering is preferred, but equivalent work experience is accepted.

  • Minimum 5 years of deep experience in leading large scale, engineering focused programs across multiple cross-functional teams, with complex interdependencies, providing product and business deliverables with high visibility and orchestration.

  • Minimum 5 years of managing large scale programs across distributed systems involving broadcast and media teams, cloud and on-premise services, and/or consumer-facing apps.

  • Minimum 5 years of senior program management experience, with experience in executive leadership alignment and communication. Comfortable presenting to GVP and above levels.

  • Strong propensity towards relationship building, empathetic listening, and understanding the balance of teamwork and individual accountability.

  • Desire to work with fast paced teams, managing competing priorities, and delivering through change and ambiguity.

  • Experience working with multiple Agile methodologies.

  • Architectural or systems design experience.

  • Experience in Salesforce cloud environments a plus.

  • Experience with automation and/or AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
