Job Description
Technical Program Managers in the Product/Project Management (Technical) stream are responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of engineering projects and systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and overseeing the creation of requirements, functional specifications, database design, and technical architecture. Technical Program Managers utilize project management tools to plan, execute, monitor, and control projects, effectively managing resources, budgets, timelines, and quality. The position emphasizes stakeholder collaboration to drive successful outcomes in engineering and operational projects, fostering an inclusive and innovative environment.
All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Define requirements, create functional specifications, and oversee database design and technical architecture.
  • Utilize project management tools to plan, execute, monitor, and control projects.
  • Manage resources, budgets, timelines, and quality for engineering and operational projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive successful outcomes and foster innovation.
  • Oversee the technology development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and enhancements.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $146,200.00 to $ 233,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
