DEPARTMENT SUMMARY

The Program Manager oversees multiple direct reports to ensure the successful execution of project objectives across various customer accounts. This role requires expertise in company-wide procedures, standards, and expectations, with a strong focus on operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and business growth.

In addition to managing project teams, the Program Manager plays a vital role in supporting and advancing product development, business systems optimization, and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional collaboration, streamlining project workflows, and identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement.

This position demands strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to navigate complex engineering and manufacturing projects while ensuring alignment with company goals. The Program Manager fosters team development, provides mentorship, and maintains effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Allocate and manage Project Manager resources, balancing workload efficiency and development
  • Lead temporary cross-functional project teams for key programs and oversee customer management
  • Conduct risk assessments, enforce project management tools, and improve operational processes
  • Manage high-level project planning, utilizing departmental tools for scheduling and execution

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering-related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of industry experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear and concise messaging

  • Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

DETAILED WAGE INFORMATION

Wage range for this role is between $115,000 - $150,000 plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities
