Job description

Company Overview

At Motorola Solutions, we believe that everything starts with our people. We're a global close-knit community, united by the relentless pursuit to help keep people safer everywhere. We build and connect technologies to help protect people, property and places. Our solutions foster the collaboration that's critical for safer communities, safer schools, safer hospitals, safer businesses, and ultimately, safer nations. Connect with a career that matters, and help us build a safer future.

Department Overview"Solving for safer" is at the heart of everything we do, and the Global Process Organization (GPO) is essential to this mission. As a Product Manager for Subscription & Experience Transformation, you will be the strategic driver and execution anchor responsible for defining, designing, and delivering the end-to-end global processes that power our renewals and subscription business.
Job Description

In this role, you will act as both an "Experience Architect" and a "Delivery Champion." You will bridge the gap between high-level business strategy and technical execution-owning the product roadmap, mapping complex global processes, and partnering with technical teams to ensure our core platforms (i.e. Salesforce, Oracle, etc) deliver a seamless customer and agent experience.

Key Responsibilities1. Roadmap & Program Ownership (The "PM" Lens)
  • End-to-End Delivery: Drive the lifecycle of subscription and renewal initiatives from initial scoping through to deployment, ensuring projects stay on track and deliver business value.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the central connective tissue between regional business leadership, Finance, Sales Operations, and IT infrastructure teams to manage project dependencies and mitigate risks.

  • Stakeholder Management: Facilitate workshops and governance meetings to communicate project status, align competing priorities, and drive global consensus.

2. Process Design & Experience Architecture (The "CX" Lens)
  • Process Mapping: Document "As-Is" and "To-Be" global processes using visual tools such as Visio or Lucidchart to simplify complex renewal lifecycles, eliminate operational bottlenecks, and unlock automation.

  • Experience Design: Visualize process changes through wireframes or low-fidelity prototypes to ensure a seamless, intuitive user interface for internal teams and external customers.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze data from diverse sources-user clicks, subscription metrics (ARR, churn), support tickets, and financial reports-to build compelling, data-backed business cases for process improvements.

3. Technical Translation & Execution (The "TPO" Lens)
  • Requirements Gathering: Translate complex business rules regarding subscription mechanics (e.g., co-terming, upsells, automated renewals) into clear, actionable user stories and functional specifications.

  • Platform Alignment: Partner closely with technical delivery teams to ensure process designs are highly feasible and optimally configured within core enterprise platforms like Oracle, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.

  • Change Management Support: Develop training materials, FAQ documentation, and "Day in the Life" guides to ensure high global adoption of newly implemented tools and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • The "Architect" Mindset: A natural affinity for deconstructing messy, highly technical subscription and billing problems into clean, logical, and optimized operational flows.

  • Communication Excellence: Proven ability to bridge the gap between deeply technical development teams and non-technical business stakeholders, explaining complex configuration dependencies with ease.

  • Agile Proficiency: Deep familiarity with Agile methodologies, product backlog prioritization, and sprint planning.

  • Subscription Ecosystem Knowledge: Direct experience working within subscription-based business models, CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) systems, or enterprise ERP/CRM billing platforms is highly desirable.

  • Global Adaptability: Comfort and competence working across different time zones, cultures, and matrixed corporate environments.

Target Base Salary Range: $78,000 - $90,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree & 2+ years of experience in product management, business systems analysis, or process transformation (ideally with a focus on SaaS, subscriptions, or renewals).

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
