ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager, Energy Infrastructure to scale the development, deployment, operation, and continuous improvement of energy systems powering SpaceXAI's rapidly expanding datacenter and aerospace infrastructure. You will enable reliable execution across engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, and external partners while establishing the systems, processes, and organizational structure required to support long-term growth.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Memphis, Tennessee.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Execute on energy infrastructure engineering programs, with an initial focus on energy storage and power systems supporting data center infrastructure.
  • Establish and maintain program structure by translating complex technical work into clear priorities, actionable plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Align stakeholders across engineering, operations, and infrastructure teams, external partners, and company leadership.
  • Establish and maintain operating mechanisms, documentation standards, knowledge management and program tracking systems.
  • Support commissioning, energization readiness, and post-deployment continuous improvement efforts by identifying and resolving blockers.
  • Create and maintain clear visibility into the plan of record status, risks, dependencies, priorities, and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead issue resolution and escalation management across technical and organizational boundaries.
  • Capture lessons learned and institutional knowledge to improve execution across current and future infrastructure deployments.
  • Support long-term infrastructure strategy by developing scalable processes that enable rapid growth.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1+ years of experience working on projects related to battery storage systems.
  • 1+ years of experience deploying Tesla Megapacks.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Direct experience with energy storage systems (e.g., Megapack), power electronics, or high-voltage infrastructure deployments.
  • Background in data center or hyperscale environment program management.
  • Familiarity with commissioning, energization, and operational handover processes.
  • Track record of building and improving program management systems, documentation standards, and knowledge management practices.
  • Passion for SpaceXAI's mission and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-impact organization.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Position is subject to pre-employment and annual post-employment background checks.
  • Comfortable working in an environment requiring exposure to noise and industrial conditions.
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and provide on-call support as needed for urgent operational issues.
