Job description

This position is located within Readjustment Counseling Service, and its primary purpose is to provide administrative and clerical support to a multi-disciplinary team providing counseling services to veterans with readjustment problems. By virtue of the mission of the Vet Center, the incumbent is the only administrative person located on site thus becoming responsible for many of the administrative, fiscal, and supply support functions for the Vet Center team.Qualifications:To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 08/24/2026.
You may qualify based on your experience as described below:
GS-07 Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-06 level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Applicants must meet two out of the three examples of Specialized experience listed below:
  • Providing administrative and technical support for the management of various programs.
  • Maintaining databases and utilizing various software programs.
  • Scheduling appointments and typing a variety of correspondence.
