The Tri-County Technical College Health Education Division is seeking a collaborative Dental Assisting Adjunct Instructor. Reporting to the Dental Assisting Program Director, successful candidates will be responsible for lecture and/or lab settings using systematically planned and delivered instruction for the program; maintain records of student academic progress and attendance, evaluate level of achievement, and assign grades for the program. Courses are offered during the day at our Pendleton campus.
This position is for our Fall 2026 semester which begins August 10, 2026. This role is part-time and does not include benefits.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Associate's degree is required for teaching the clinical or lab dental assistant courses. Dental Assisting National Board "CDA" credential.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Faculty providing didactic instruction must have earned at least a baccalaureate degree. Background in and current knowledge of dental assisting practice, experience in teaching, educational theory, and methodology. Lab, preclinical and clinical faculty must hold any current dental assisting credential required by the state in addition to a Dental Assisting National Board "CDA" credential.
