Position: Tax Operations Coordinator
The Technical Production Operations Coordinator (Tax Operations Coordinator) ensures the accurate and timely preparation and assembly of client deliverables. This role is vital in supporting client-facing professionals by maintaining strong organizational and communication skills amidst balancing various tasks and meeting critical deadlines.
โ€ข What You'll Do
  • Tax Processing: Effectively process client deliverables including tax returns, extensions, and responses to notices by adhering to strict quality control standards to guarantee accuracy and promptness.
  • Project Coordination: Actively communicate project deadlines and status updates, managing workflow and client expectations with precision.
  • Client Services: Anticipate the needs of internal clients, providing diligent follow-through and planning ahead to meet upcoming deliverable deadlines.
  • Solutions-Oriented Approach: Offer alternative solutions when challenges arise with client issues, ensuring continuous service and satisfaction.
  • Due Date Tracking: Maintain and monitor schedules tracking due dates, ensuring all timeframes and deadlines are accurately managed and adhered to.
  • Quality Control: Assist with rolling of binders, maintaining compliance with the firm's quality control standards, as well as setting up new client information.
  • Document Management: Contribute to the distribution and processing of tax organizers and the scanning of client data, as necessary.
  • Ad-Hoc Duties: Engage in additional duties and participate in special projects as directed by the Practice Operations Leader.

What You Bring
  • High School Diploma/GED required, some college preferred.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience; prior professional services environments preferred.
  • Availability for overtime as needed during busy season.
  • Willingness to travel approximately <5%.
