Using state-of-the-art remote sensing technology, Fugro transforms spatial data into practical knowledge that supports essential resource assessment and mitigation operations, transportation, utilities, emergency and asset management, and infrastructure development.

The Senior Production Analyst will perform the data review and management of incoming aerial imagery and LiDAR data. This role is also tasked with providing training and technical support, writing or updating standard operating procedures, and performing independent quality reviews.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.
  • Perform the data management of incoming aerial imagery and Lidar data as well as the processed data, including data receiving, tracking, and archiving.
  • Process and evaluate the quality of airborne/ground GPS-IMU data using a variety of software packages.
  • Evaluate pre- and post-processed digital imagery and Lidar data to ensure the quality of the data to meet project specifications. Keep track of and report the QC result.
  • Know the various factors affecting production, i.e. time allotted for the project and its metrics, quality and quantity of work produced, and project specifications.
  • Report to the GeoPositioning Team Lead on project status and/or any matter that may adversely affect the quality of the product.
  • Exercise creativity in assigned duties, analyzing processes to improve overall efficiency, quality, and profitability.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Geospatial Sciences, GIS, or a related field of study is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of production experience in processing lidar data, lidar-derived productions, and other types of terrain products.
  • ASPRS certification is preferred
  • Possess working knowledge of lidar processing and QC software packages: Microstation, TerraSolid, LP360, Global Mapper, ArcGIS, LASTools, etc.
  • Possess a strong understanding of both GPS and remote sensing techniques and principles
  • Must have a thorough and technical understanding of lidar technology, data quality, and relevant industry standards.
  • Experience with MS Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to work independently without supervision as well as within a team.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Travel up to 20% for job functions
