Job Title: Order Entry Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Order Entry Specialist to join our team and manage inbound call traffic in a dynamic contact center environment. The role involves providing accurate and timely order entry, support for schedule agreements, and resolving issues for both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-volume call environment, excels at multitasking, and has a proven track record in a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a high volume of inbound phone calls and emails, providing timely and accurate information to customers.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding customer problems, orders, and general inquiries related to order fulfillment, including schedule agreement changes and delivery timelines.
  • Accurately enter orders and own customer issues, resolving complex inquiries while working with Operations, Technical Support, Logistics, Purchasing, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Provide customer account management to ensure satisfaction and business objectives are met.
  • Support and work alongside AI technology in order management.
  • Strive to exceed set service levels and department targets.
  • Handle all queries within the established process and communicate proactively about product availability and supply chain delays.
  • Reallocate products based on inventory levels to meet scheduling agreement requirements.
  • Participate in team activities to improve communication, accountability, and team success.
  • Engage in continuous personal improvement through the departmental training plan.
  • Effectively plan and prioritize workload to avoid backlogs.
  • Perform other related duties as needed and/or assigned by leadership.

Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in order entry and data entry.
  • Strong customer service orientation and experience in order processing.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in office or customer service-related roles.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
