Technical Order Entry / Customer Service RepresentativeThe Technical Order Entry / Customer Service Representative is responsible for accurately entering complex glass orders, managing customer communications, and supporting custom product quoting. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with customers and internal teams.Key Responsibilities
  • Enter customer orders involving dimensions (length, width, thickness) and glass type.
  • Provide customers with status updates and promise ship dates.
  • Prepare and enter quotes, including commercial project quotes and custom product calculations.
  • Educate customers on products and processes, helping them select appropriate options and sizes.
  • Verify order accuracy before submission to the manufacturing team.
  • Resolve customer issues, trace order progress, and prioritize customer satisfaction.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
  • High level of professionalism, enthusiasm, and customer service orientation.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage customer needs via phone, email, and in person.
