Description

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company that services the country’s largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest High-speed Internet & Cable providers. CTDI has over 11,000 FT US Employees in over 60 world class US Operations. CTDI also has a global footprint with more than 20,000 employees worldwide.

This key management position is responsible for technical operational aspects of multiple CTDI Branch facilities and / or verticals. This will include managing and leading CTDI employees and management staff. Other duties include managing production including technical related items such as UPH, yield, capacity, utilization, consumption, Robust system transactions and reporting. The General Manager also directly interface with our customer in an effort to build and maintain a positive working relationship on behalf of the corporation as well as helping to develop new business opportunities for the branches and verticals.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that customer's service expectations are met, including achieving all CTDI service levels metrics and quality performance goals.
  • Generate, cultivate, and communicate ideas for continual improvement of processes and activities across all areas of the operation and lead standardization within the branch operations.
  • Responsible for P&L/Budget management for branch locations.
  • Supervise and motivate a staff of the Vertical and the Branch Managers.
  • Monitor and manage all revenues and expenses that impact P&L performance.
  • Communicate and interact with customer and various internal functional departments (i.e. IT, HR, Accounting, Program Management, Quality etc.) in order to resolve issues, capitalize on opportunities and improve business and service performance.
  • Prepare various reports and analyses as required by the customer or CTDI internal organizations.
  • Support research and reconcile forecasted financial results with posted General Ledger results as part of the Monthly Close Process.
  • Support and ensure compliance with CTDI safety programs and initiatives as well as all applicable OSHA and state workplace safety laws.
  • Ensure compliance with all building security requirements set forth by CTDI and its customers.
  • Development of Repair Processes, recovered part validation, recovered part inventory, Bill of Materials, Fail Code Masters, repair action for fail codes, Shop Floor System Remove and Replace transactions, technician training and evaluation, yield monitoring and reporting.
  • Position reports to the Director of the vertical or verticals for a major CTDI customer with dotted line reporting responsibility to the Corporate VP of Operations.

  • 10+ years working in a high-volume distribution, 3PL, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing, repair and yield management)
  • Previous experience managing multiple facilities preferred
  • Proficiency in MSOffice (Word, Excel, Access and Project), report preparation, and data analysis

Education:

  • Minimum of a B.S. Degree in Business Management or a related discipline is preferred
