  • Establish measurable product, marketing, pipeline, revenue, and sales-support goals in alignment with RTC's strategic and financial objectives.
  • Set, monitor, and achieve assigned goals and quotas; use performance information to identify trends, remove obstacles, and improve results.
  • Allocate people, technical resources, vendor support, and project capacity effectively to ensure timely delivery of customer projects and product initiatives.
  • Coach and train sales and customer-facing team members on the technical capabilities, business benefits, positioning, use cases, and limitations of RTC products and services.
  • Promote consistent sales processes, solution standards, documentation practices, and customer handoffs across participating departments.
  • Identify product, process, service, and customer-experience improvements; evaluate potential solutions and communicate recommendations to executive management.
  • Support pricing, packaging, forecasting, budgeting, vendor evaluation, and business-case development for new or enhanced offerings.

Product and Solutions Development
  • Lead the evaluation, design, development, validation, implementation, and continuous improvement of technical solutions that address customer needs and RTC business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a practical product roadmap informed by customer feedback, market conditions, competitive intelligence, operational capability, financial performance, and technology trends.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Commercial Solutions, Network Operations, Customer Service, Finance, Operations, vendors, and other stakeholders to define solution requirements and launch-readiness criteria.
  • Guide the product lifecycle from opportunity identification and business case through pilot, launch, sales enablement, adoption, performance review, enhancement, and retirement when appropriate.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are technically supportable, operationally sustainable, competitively positioned, appropriately priced, and aligned with RTC's service standards.
  • Stay current with telecommunications trends, emerging technologies, customer demands, competitors, and industry best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain knowledge of fiber internet, managed networks, cloud-based telephony, security camera systems, access control, Wi-Fi, cybersecurity, and related commercial services.
  • Marketing Strategy and Market Development
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new and existing products, including target markets, value propositions, positioning, sales tools, launch plans, campaigns, and success measures.
  • Translate technical product capabilities into clear, credible, customer-focused messaging for non-technical audiences.
  • Partner with internal and external marketing resources to create product collateral, presentations, case studies, website content, campaign materials, event messaging, and sales enablement tools.
  • Solicit, document, and analyze customer and sales-team feedback; use findings to improve products and create new sales and marketing strategies for targeted customer segments.
  • Monitor product adoption, pipeline, win/loss information, campaign results, customer retention, revenue, margin, and other appropriate measures; recommend corrective actions or new opportunities.
  • Support community, industry, customer, and promotional events that strengthen RTC's brand, commercial relationships, and market presence.
  • Ensure product and marketing claims are accurate, supportable, consistent with approved pricing and capabilities, and aligned with RTC's brand and regulatory obligations.

Customer Engagement and Technical Sales Support
  • Collaborate with sales professionals to understand customer business requirements and provide technical sales support, discovery, solution design, and proposal guidance.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, proposals, and solution explanations for customers, prospects, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Discuss equipment needs, system requirements, integrations, implementation considerations, budgets, and desired business outcomes with customers, engineers, vendors, and internal technical teams.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor and point of contact for key customers throughout the solution lifecycle, from discovery and design through implementation, adoption, support, and renewal.
  • Explain complex technical information in practical business terms that non-technical decision-makers and users can understand.
  • Provide product support as appropriate and identify ethical, customer-centered upsell and cross-sell opportunities that add measurable value.
  • Participate in complex sales opportunities, solution reviews, site assessments, requests for proposal, contract discussions, and customer escalations when needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer requirements, proposed solutions, project assumptions, commitments, feedback, and follow-up activities.

Project Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration
