Job Summary

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and governing delivery activities for Enterprise Architecture (EA) teams aligned to complex business and technology initiatives. This role ensures Enterprise Architecture commitments, dependencies, risks, and deliverables are visible, coordinated, and delivered in alignment with broader initiative goals.


This role will combine strong program and project delivery expertise with a technical foundation, stakeholder management skills, and leadership across teams. The TDM helps plan, coordinate, and govern EA delivery activities while fostering collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and govern EA delivery activities for complex business and technology initiatives through the initiative lifecycle
  • Develop and manage EA delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and resource needs in coordination with business unit initiative plans
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams including risk, engineering, infrastructure, security, quality assurance, product, and business stakeholders
  • Provide leadership visibility into delivery health through status reporting, decision tracking, risk and issue management, dependency tracking, and escalations
  • Facilitate alignment among business requirements, solution architecture design, application design, and execution plans
  • Track EA deliverables such as architecture designs, capability mapping, decisions, and risk assessments
  • Support EA teams in planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Manage Jira boards, workflows, delivery artifacts, and Confluence knowledge documentation for strategic initiatives and delivery-related activities to ensure clarity, traceability, and hygiene
  • Promote accountability across teams for commitments, deliverables, timelines, and standards
  • Develop and monitor delivery health using metrics, KPIs, and dashboards
  • Promote continuous improvement in delivery practices, team collaboration, and execution efficiency by celebrating successes and applying lessons learned
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, governance processes, regulatory or security requirements where applicable, and the client's Technology Operating Model (ATOM)


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered
  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management, program delivery, or technology delivery leadership roles
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional technology initiatives involving multiple teams and dependencies
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies, including project planning, sprint execution, and release management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage delivery risks, issues, dependencies, schedules, and stakeholder communications
  • Strong general technical acumen with the ability to engage effectively with engineers, architects, and technical leaders
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills with the ability to engage across multiple leadership levels
  • Experience using delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar platforms
  • Experience managing or coordinating business, technical, and architectural requirements through delivery lifecycle artifacts
  • Strong organizational, attention to detail, and effective time management skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Claude Code, Microsoft Copilot, or other enterprise AI tools
  • Experience supporting Enterprise Architecture or Business Architecture teams
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and modern engineering practices
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture, integration platforms, security controls, and operational readiness processes
  • Certifications such as:
  • Project/program delivery: PMP, PRINCE2
  • Agile delivery: Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master
  • IT service management: ITIL
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party delivery engagements
  • Exposure to financial services, healthcare, insurance, or other highly governed industries
