Job description

About Broccoli
Broccoli is building the AI operating system for home service businesses.
We work with plumbing, HVAC, and electrical contractors - the people who keep homes running - and we replace fragmented tools and manual workflows with AI agents that actually do the work.
Our AI assistants answer phones, book jobs, follow up with customers, and drive revenue - fully integrated into systems like ServiceTitan.
We started by going door-to-door, meeting 100+ contractors, and understanding how these businesses actually run. That shaped everything we've built. Today:
  • Hundreds of contractors use Broccoli to run their front office
  • We've grown from $0 → millions in ARR in under a year
  • We're trusted by both single-location operators and the largest PE-backed roll-ups
  • Raised $25M+ from Khosla Ventures and YC

Technical Recruiter @ Broccoli
We're looking for a Technical Recruiter to help build the team behind Broccoli's next phase of growth. You'll own full-cycle recruiting for technical and product roles - junior, senior and staff engineers - working closely with founders on both the who and the why behind every hire.
Recruiting is one of the most important functions at Broccoli. We're building AI systems that operate in the real world, and the quality of our team directly determines whether this works.
What You'll Do
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for technical and product roles across levels - from early engineers to senior hires - done the Broccoli way.
  • Work with founders to ensure a delightful candidate experience, from the first conversation through each of your candidates' first day.
  • Sourcing - lots of it! Broccoli has a strong pitch when it comes to revenue and growth, but we're still in the early stages of getting the word out. And you'll experiment with new sourcing strategies, referrals, outbound, and creative approaches to reach great candidates.
  • Collaborate with founders on the strategic side of recruiting: quality of hire, bar-raising, and building teams that scale, not just filling seats.

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, with a strong track record of shipping great hires.
  • Strong preference for experience sourcing technical talent at early-stage or fast-growing startups.
  • You're excited about working in person in SF and being embedded with the team.
  • You enjoy bringing creativity into recruiting - trying new things, iterating fast, and doing things differently.
  • You're a strong communicator, interviewer, and closer.
  • You have great instincts for spotting builders who thrive in ambiguity, ownership, and fast execution - not just polished resumes.

Broccoli is an equal-opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practice laws.
