What You’ll Do

As an HVAC Installer, you’ll work in residential homes installing HVAC equipment safely, efficiently, and according to manufacturer specifications, company standards, and applicable codes.

You will:

  • Install residential HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, thermostats, and related equipment
  • Complete system replacements, equipment upgrades, and new installations
  • Properly remove and dispose of existing HVAC equipment when required
  • Complete installations according to manufacturer specifications, company standards, and applicable codes
  • Ensure systems are properly connected, tested, and operating correctly before completing the job
  • Identify and troubleshoot installation-related issues
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, installation manuals, and technical specifications
  • Work efficiently while maintaining high standards for safety and workmanship
  • Collaborate with Lead Installers, Install Helpers, Service Technicians, and other team members as needed
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation process
  • Explain basic system operation and answer customer questions before leaving the home
  • Protect customers' homes and property throughout the installation
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsites
  • Complete accurate job documentation using ServiceTitan
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
  • Represent the One Hour brand with professionalism, honesty, integrity, and pride
What We’re Looking For

  • At least 2 years of residential HVAC installation experience
  • Experience installing residential air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and related HVAC equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical installation skills
  • Knowledge of proper HVAC installation procedures and industry best practices
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, installation manuals, and technical specifications
  • Ability to troubleshoot installation-related issues and make sound decisions in the field
