You'll lead cross-functional programs connecting Manufacturing, Hardware, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and external manufacturing partners.
This role leads program management for capital equipment planning and execution, partnering closely with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations on capacity expansion, automation implementation, equipment sourcing, installation, validation, and production readiness. You'll also lead broader manufacturing programs that improve operational performance, manage risk, and enable execution across fast-moving NPI and CI priorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Own complex manufacturing programs across NPI, CI, factory readiness, capacity expansion, automation implementation, and strategic operations, ensuring clear scope, schedule, ownership, risks, and execution plans.
  • Lead cross-functional program management across Manufacturing, Hardware, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and contract manufacturing partners.
  • Drive manufacturing and CapEx readiness for new products, process changes, equipment deployments, and operational improvements, aligning teams on key milestones, risks, deliverables, and decisions.
  • Own the CapEx lifecycle and roadmap, including capital planning, scoping, budgeting, procurement, installation, validation, production readiness, cost tracking, forecast accuracy, investment reviews, audits, and reporting.
  • Embed CapEx planning early in product development, partnering with engineering and manufacturing teams to translate product, process, capacity, automation, and infrastructure needs into execution plans that balance innovation, cost, and operational feasibility.
  • Develop and manage program schedules, risk registers, budgets, action plans, roadmaps, and executive-level status reporting.
  • Oversee equipment sourcing, vendor coordination, and deployment to meet critical manufacturing, quality, capacity, automation, and operational milestones.
  • Identify gaps in process, tools, communication, or execution, and implement improvements that increase speed, visibility, accountability, and delivery quality.
  • Anticipate risks, drive mitigation plans, escalate when needed, and keep teams moving through ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Support global manufacturing sites with international travel as needed, up to 25%.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, manufacturing program management, manufacturing operations, supply chain, or hardware operations, ideally in consumer electronics or hardware.

  • Experience managing technical and operational programs across engineering, manufacturing partners, vendors, quality, procurement, operations, and finance.
  • Working knowledge of CapEx planning and execution, including equipment scoping, procurement, budgeting, installation, validation, and production readiness.
  • Strong program management fundamentals, including schedule ownership, risk management, budget tracking, stakeholder alignment, communication, and issue resolution.
  • Ability to translate technical manufacturing details into clear plans, tradeoffs, risks, and decisions for cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized and analytical, with strong attention to detail, follow-through, and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communicator, able to present technical, operational, and financial information clearly.
  • Skilled in Excel or Google Sheets, with experience using Google Slides, Slack, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar tools.
