The Technical engineering Manager (Front-End/Back-End) is a dynamic leadership role responsible for fostering a high-performing culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improvement across engineering teams. The Engineering Manager partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align engineering execution with business strategy, define and deliver on key OKRs, and drive forward-thinking technology solutions. This role involves leading talent development, staying ahead of emerging trends, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring excellence in execution for both Front-End and Back-End initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and hands-on leader with strong communication and influencing skills, a deep technical background, and proven success in guiding engineering teams to deliver impactful results.

A Typical Day

  • Cultivate a high-performing, innovative culture within Front-End/Back-End teams
  • Attract, develop, and retain top engineering talent; promote continuous learning and effective performance management
  • Identify strategic opportunities in Front-End/Back-End domains and influence stakeholder support.
  • Align annual team OKRs with organizational goals
  • Stay ahead of tech trends to guide strategic adoption or avoidance
  • Manage engineering budgets efficiently to maximize impact
Execution & Delivery
  • Build strong vendor partnerships to support engineering needs
  • Lead cross-functional engineering initiatives, ensuring technical excellence
  • Collaborate on technical requirements, prioritize efforts, and align on goals
  • Measure and improve Front-End/Back-End team efficiency and processes
To Land This Opportunity
  • You have r elevant industry certifications or specialized training in Front-End/Back-End technologies
  • You have 7+ years of industry experience in software engineering
  • You have 1-3 years in a leadership or management role
  • You have a quality, high speed internet connection at home
  • You obtain strong communication and presentation skills
  • You have proven experience in building and leading high-performing engineering teams
  • You have the ability to influence and navigate organizational dynamics effectively
  • You’re an all-star communicator and are proficient in English (both written and verbal)
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent

The salary range for this role is $ 141,218.77 to $ 209,161.18 an nually which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay-for performance company . In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role.
