About the Team

It's fun to work in a company where people truly believe in what they're doing. In the Workday Global Partner Organization, we believe that partners are essential to delivering outstanding customer experiences and extraordinary business results. We are passionate about what our partners do for our customers, we work hard, we're serious about what we do, and we have fun doing it.
The Partner Strategy and Growth team in the Global Partner Organization, leads strategy, planning and business development for the partner business at Workday. We define and execute our strategy with leaders across the business; lead strategic partner relationships; and deliver sizable, net-new revenue growth with partners.

About the Role

The Workday Wellness platform enables benefit providers (Wellness Partners) to deliver seamless, API-based integration solutions within Workday's HCM and Benefits ecosystem. As part of our strategic growth, this role bridges the gap between partner signing and live customer deployment.

As the Partner Technical Enablement Lead for Workday Wellness, you will own the technical journey for our Wellness Partners, ensuring they understand Workday HCM/Benefits functionality, master our API capabilities, and are fully equipped to guide enterprise customers through successful product deployments.

Success for the role will be measured in optimizing for time required for partners to adopt and reach readiness to deploy. You'll streamline the end-to-end program and activities required between partner sign-on and operational deployment readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Lead our Wellness Partner Platform Adoption Program

  • Facilitate structured technical onboarding sessions for Wellness Partners, including technical deep dives, authentication setup, system service coordination, and test tenant provisioning.

  • Lead test-case development and scenario testing to validate integration capabilities prior to customer engagement.

Solution Education, Training & Certification

  • Build and maintain comprehensive learning resources, API documentation, and training modules.

  • Design, implement, and own a solution quality certification program that establishes quality standards and differentiates partner offerings (e.g., base use cases vs. advanced "best-in-class" implementations).

  • Define how internal teams and Workday HCM customers identify available Wellness Partners and their associated certification tiers.

  • Provide proactive technical advisory services, ad-hoc troubleshooting, and hands-on guidance to ensure partners earn required product credentials.

Partner Deployment Readiness & Customer Enablement

  • Equip partners with both the technical expertise and program management frameworks required to lead customer deployments:

  • Coach partners on best practices across all deployment phases (discovery, design, build, test, deploy, and post go-live).

  • Train partners on defining deployment scope, tracking milestones, managing project plans, mitigating risk, and coordinating cross-functional teams.

  • Guide partners through customer-facing workshops, demos, and go-live readiness reviews. Perform hands-on tenant configurations when necessary to replicate complex testing or integration scenarios.

  • Create reusable frameworks, playbooks, and toolkits that partners can leverage for repeatable, scalable customer implementations.

About You

Basic Qualifications: Principal Partner Technical Enablement Lead

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in technical partner enablement, solution architecture, technical consulting, or enterprise SaaS deployment.

  • Domain Expertise: 7+ years of demonstrated experience with enterprise SaaS or ERP ecosystems, specifically within HCM and Benefit Administration domains.

Basic Qualifications: Senior Partner Technical Enablement Lead

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in technical partner enablement, solution architecture, technical consulting, or enterprise SaaS deployment.

  • Domain Expertise: 4+ years of demonstrated experience with enterprise SaaS or ERP ecosystems, specifically within HCM and Benefit Administration domains.

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience (5+ years) with API-based technologies (REST/SOAP, JSON/XML), web services, authentication protocols, and API testing tools (e.g., Postman).

    • Experience in the Workday software alliances ecosystem a plus

    • Demonstrated understanding of how APIs function as the connective tissue between software platforms

    • Experience in US healthcare, financial services or insurance markets

    • Consistent record of exceeding targets and customer impact

    • Ability to frame, structure and execute large and complex partner deals

    • Ability to engage with executives, facilitate business development, identify large-scale greenfield opportunities, and deliver business and revenue outcomes

    • Ability to influence senior leaders and executives

    • Strong written and oral presentation skills

    Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we're combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
