We are seeking a Technical Salesperson to support our growing portfolio of aerospace-grade adhesives, composite prepregs, and infusion resin systems. This role blends technical application engineering with customer relationship management. You will act as the technical bridge between our R&D / manufacturing teams and our aerospace, defense, UAS, motorsports, and advanced-manufacturing customers.
This is a high-growth opportunity for a technically curious engineer who wants to build deep materials expertise while developing a commercial career in advanced composites.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Support/Technical Sales:

  • Assist customers with material selection, processing recommendations, cure cycles, and troubleshooting.
  • Support product qualification, sample builds, and on-site trials.
  • Prepare technical proposals, application notes, and product comparisons.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across adhesives, prepregs, films, and infusion systems.
Application Engineering:
  • Translate customer requirements into technical solutions product lines.
  • Work closely with R&D on new formulations, performance improvements, and custom solutions.
  • Support testing programs including lap shear, peel, DMA, DSC, Tg, out-time, and shelf-life studies.
Account Management:
  • Maintain regular contact with accounts to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Track opportunities, sampling, and technical action items in CRM.
  • Support forecasting, product launches, and customer onboarding.
Market Development:
  • Develop relationships with composite shops, aerospace OEMs, tier-suppliers, UAS manufacturers, and R&D labs.
  • Attend industry trade shows, customer audits, and technical review meetings.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in: Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Polymer Science, or related technical field or Business with significant coursework in similar subjects (OR equivalent hands-on experience in composites / aerospace manufacturing.)
Experience:
  • 0-5 years' experience in composites, adhesives, resins, or technical manufacturing.
  • Strong technical communication skills - able to explain chemistry to engineers and machinists alike.
  • Willingness to travel regionally (30-50%).
  • Experience with: Polymers, composites, epoxies, cyanate esters, BMI systems, film adhesives, Exposure to aerospace, defense, motorsports, or UAS markets or any related technical sales experience preferred.
