Who You Are:

You support the technical development team by coordinating sample management, fit session logistics, documentation, tracking, and cross-functional communication across footwear categories. This role plays a critical part in ensuring technical development milestones, fit approvals, and commercialization timelines remain on track from prototype through production.

You will partner closely with Technical Development, Product Development, Design, Merchandising, Production, Quality, and factory partners to support the execution of seasonal footwear programs while maintaining accurate records, clear communication, and strong organizational processes.

What You'll Do:

Technical Development Support
  • Support the execution of technical development activities from prototype through production across multiple footwear categories.
  • Track sample status, fit approvals, comments, and key development milestones to ensure on-time execution.
  • Coordinate and distribute technical documentation, fit comments, construction updates, and approval records to internal and external partners.
  • Maintain accurate style information, development records, and technical documentation within company systems.
Fit Session & Sample Management
  • Coordinate fit session schedules, model bookings, sample readiness, and meeting logistics.
  • Prepare fit session materials and ensure samples are organized and available for review.
  • Capture fit notes, approval comments, and action items during fit sessions and distribute recaps to stakeholders.
  • Track follow-up actions and ensure updates are incorporated into subsequent sample rounds.
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day communication between Technical Development, Product Development, Design, Merchandising, and factory partners.
  • Monitor seasonal calendars and proactively highlight potential risks, delays, or missing information.
  • Support alignment of development timelines and deliverables across multiple teams and vendors.
Process & Reporting
  • Maintain development trackers, sample logs, fit approval reports, and seasonal status summaries.
  • Create and distribute weekly updates on sample progress, approvals, and outstanding action items.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve tracking tools.
  • Ensure technical development records are organized, accurate, and audit-ready.
Team & Administrative Support
  • Support travel coordination, meeting scheduling, and workshop preparation for the technical development team.
  • Assist with onboarding materials, seasonal setup activities, and department organization.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide administrative and operational support as needed.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment while continuously building technical product knowledge.

You'll Need to Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Footwear, Product Development, Engineering, Merchandising, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in footwear, accessories, product development, technical development, or a related field.
  • Internship experience within footwear or consumer products is a plus
