Fabletics is currently looking for a Manager, Technical Design.
How Do You Fit In?
As the Manager, Technical Design (Women's), you will manage all aspects of Technical Design related functions from initial Tech Pack creation to production, facilitating the development of apparel styles from design concept and first prototype to a final, production-ready sample.
The Manager, Technical Design, will sit in on all fittings and participate in creating optimal ways to construct garments, create brand right sizes and fits, establish block patterns and product standards, and develop a team of technical design experts. You will be joining an extremely fast-paced team of creative and energetic individuals working towards significant expansion into various apparel categories. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with an entrepreneurial mind who is passionate about fashion and fit and understands the brand aesthetic and price point of our brands.
This position will report to the Director, Technical Design - Women's.
What You Will Do:
  • Manage all tech design related functions from creating effective processes and product standards to successfully drive brand initiatives.
  • Lead, develop and mentor a team of technical designers.
  • Attend fittings to develop and establish Regular and Plus size apparel.
  • Establish fit and quality standards by developing technical specifications including measurement specs, grading, construction details and on-body standards.
  • Assemble tech packs with construction detail sketches, specs, how to measure guides and packaging details.
  • Analyze garments to determine compliance of comments, specs, constructions, and sketches.
  • Build and maintain technical design data libraries in Centric PLM.
  • Create fit blocks and product standards.
  • Partner closely with Design to establish design and fit intent.
  • Collaborate with vendors, Production and Product Development to meet all calendar deadlines.
  • Build and maintain relationships with international and domestic vendors.
  • Monitor workflow of all vendors, internal team members, and sample room to meet standards and guidelines.
  • Strategic and solution driven with topline and end goals in mind.
  • Demonstrate positive attitude and inspire team to encourage constructive communication.

What You Can Bring:
  • 8+ years of previous experience Technical Design for Women's apparel. Lounge/lifestyle categories a plus.
  • Prior experience leading and mentoring teams
  • Proven track record of growing businesses, identifying trends and delivering results.
  • Solid understanding of the marketplace, aspirational and competitive set.
  • Exceptional knowledge of garment construction, balance and fit, and patterns.
  • Excellent eye for fit, construction and detail.
  • Ability to create technical drawings and renderings.
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and presentation.
  • Demonstrate positive attitude and inspire team to encourage constructive communication.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment under pressure.
  • Ideal candidate brings foundational AI literacy, including experience using generative AI tools, and a proactive mindset to experiment with new technologies to drive productivity and innovation.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $100,000-$140,000. The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate's related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
