Job description

The Print Design team is looking for a motivated UX or Technical Writer to help craft clear, engaging content for digital interfaces including apps, desktop software, device displays, and web portals.

This role is a great fit for someone with strong writing skills who s eager to grow in the field of UX and UI writing. A background in technical writing or product development would be highly applicable to this role. We welcome applicants who are excited to learn and collaborate.

Technical Skills:

  • Write and manage UI copy for printer applications, CRM content, web pages and portals, and other customer-facing touchpoints
  • Focus on making complex and technical topics simple and approachable for all audiences
  • Create error-free content that reflects the brand voice and tone and adheres to writing style guides
  • Collaborate with design teammates, Supplies, legal partners, firmware and software engineers, and development teams to produce and deliver a variety of digital messaging pieces
  • Manage multiple versions of a message, with variations by product type, firmware platform, and user touchpoint
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Collaborate with other writers to advance our overall content strategy
  • Interview various stakeholders to distill business and strategic requirements into concise messaging

Certification:

  • A bachelor s degree in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, or a related field
  • 0-3 years of experience in UX writing technical writing, copywriting, or content creation. If you re new to UX writing but have strong writing skills and a desire to learn, we encourage you to apply!
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset and openness to feedback from partners and senior UX writers
  • Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), Adobe Creative Suite, and creative-collaboration tools
  • Experience in content management or managing complex spreadsheets is beneficial
  • Ability to work with design, legal, and RnD requirements to drive UI string development work
  • Dedication to keeping projects on track as priorities and schedule change
