About the Role: 

The Content Manager is a fast-paced, dynamic, content-centric role that allows you to directly impact the quality of Fidelity's services by collaborating with business partners to craft and execute content solutions that meet their mission. If you are a skilled content writing professional who is passionate about the user experience, who can manage multiple priorities in a constantly evolving environment, and who understands how internal content can drive better business outcomes, we want to meet with you!

The Team

The mission of the team is to support Fidelity associates in delivering an exceptional client and participant experience by providing timely, relevant, and easy-to-use content. They support three major platforms that are critical associate tools within Workplace Investing: Associate Benefits Library (ABL), Plan Bulletin, and Plan Profile.

Content Writing - The team provides governance over content styles and standards to promote consistency across the platforms. They collaborate with subject matter experts and end users to develop innovative solutions that meet associate needs.  Also, they promote straight-through processing to reduce cycle times.

Responsibilities
  • Produce timely, high quality, easy to use content solutions that drive the achievement of key performance objectives
  • Offer and implement solutions that consider current business needs and available technologies, while anticipating future environmental changes to products, services, and systems
  • Promote business leader understanding of how content can improve business outcomes and consistently produce solutions with measurable impact on the operating environment
  • Support Associate Content Management & Experience transformation efforts that increase process automation, make content easier to produce and consume
Qualifications
  • Excellent technical writing skills and ability to balance multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Adept at directing succinct, clear, and effective content solutions for diverse content consumers
  • A passion for content planning, creation, management, and execution to optimize customer experiences
  • Experience with content management systems, grouping/tagging content, and maintaining taxonomies
  • Deep understanding of authoring and content management principles
  • Proven experience in establishing and maintaining content standards across the organization
  • Ability to collaborate with others to understand their unique needs and propose targeted solutions
  • Ability to partner with peers and business partners to build and implement successful content solutions
  • Use a data-informed approach to identify and prioritize opportunities, and to measure solution impact
  • Apply associate feedback, user research, and business performance metrics to drive content improvements
  • Build effective relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to lead projects, maintain project timelines, and influence direction without explicit authority
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional, highly matrixed teams, in a fast-paced Agile environment
