Team Overview
The Technical Writing Senior Analyst plays a key role in shaping how teams communicate complex information-governing technical content, developing high quality materials, and ensuring alignment with organizational standards and messaging. You will Write, edit, and format moderately complex technical content including user guides, reference materials, policies, procedures, online help, presentations, forms, and eLearning materials In this role, you will report to the Sr Lead of Technical Writing. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview and Core Responsibilities
  • Write, edit, and format moderately complex technical content-including user guides, reference materials, policies, procedures, online help, presentations, forms, and eLearning materials-to meet corporate standards and audience needs.
  • Research, analyze, and document processes, tools, applications, and regulatory information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support the governance of technical communications across the organization.
  • Review materials to ensure alignment with branding, organizational messaging, and stylistic requirements.
  • Help train associates on documentation standards, templates, and best practices.
  • Partner with teams across the organization to support creation and management of technical content for internal and external use.
  • Assist associates in effectively communicating complex information.
  • Contribute positively to team dynamics through collaboration, responsiveness, and attention to feedback.

Required Knowledge and Experiences
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Degree in technical communications, technical writing, English, or a related communications field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical communications, technical writing, or a related field.
  • Excellent writing, verbal, and organizational skills

Required Technical Skills
  • Experience with and application of technical communication tools. Current toolset includes Microsoft Office, SharePoint, MadCap Flare, Articulate 360, Adobe Acrobat, SnagIt, and Confluence.

Pay Scale Information:
The U.S. base salary range for this position is $67,500.00 - $112,500 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
