Job description

CFB is seeking a creative, strategic, and detail-oriented Marketing Content Lead to develop compelling content that strengthens our brand, supports business growth, and reinforces our authority within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.

This role is responsible for creating content across digital, print, social media, website, proposal, and client-facing platforms. The ideal candidate combines exceptional writing and storytelling skills with AEC industry knowledge and the ability to translate technical information into clear, engaging communications tailored to diverse audiences.

The Marketing Content Lead collaborates closely with marketing, business development, leadership, and technical teams to support branding, recruiting, client engagement, and pursuit initiatives. This role requires the ability to adapt tone and messaging across multiple platforms — from public-facing marketing content to technically accurate proposal and qualifications materials.

Remote or hybrid work arrangements may be considered, with preference for candidates able to report to one of CFB’s Central Florida offices as needed.

Key Responsibilities

 Content Development & Brand Storytelling

  • Develop engaging, strategic content across multiple platforms and audience types. 
  • Write and manage website copy, blog articles, case studies, project descriptions, recruitment materials, email campaigns, and marketing collateral. 
  • Interview technical staff and project teams to gather project information and story opportunities. 
  • Ensure all content aligns with CFB’s brand standards, messaging, and visual identity. 
  • Adapt writing style and messaging based on audience, platform, and communication goals. 

 Digital Marketing & Social Media

  • Develop, schedule, and manage social media content across multiple platforms. 
  • Create content that supports brand awareness, recruiting, thought leadership, and client engagement. 
  • Support website updates and digital content management. 
  • Research and apply SEO and AEO best practices to improve digital visibility and performance. 
  • Utilize AI-assisted tools to support content development while maintaining brand voice and quality standards. 
  • Monitor social engagement and support online reputation management. 

 Proposals & Business Development Support

  • Support development of RFQs, RFPs, proposals, qualifications packages, and other pursuit materials. 
  • Collaborate with marketing, business development, and technical teams to develop strategic, client-focused messaging. 
  • Prepare, edit, proofread, and format marketing and technical documents for accuracy, consistency, and quality. 
  • Assist with presentations, graphics, infographics, and other visual communication materials as needed. 

Graphic & Brand Support

  • Support graphic design, layout, and visual presentation of marketing, proposal, and client-facing materials. 
  • Develop polished, visually consistent marketing pieces across digital and print platforms. 
  • Assist with presentations, graphics, infographics, and other visual communication materials as needed. 
  • Help maintain consistent branding, formatting, and visual identity across all marketing and pursuit deliverables. 

 Qualifications

 Required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, communications, proposal coordination, content development, or related roles within the AEC industry or professional services environment is required
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, organizational, and communication skills. 
  • Strong creative and technical writing abilities. 
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and engaging communications. 
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across technical, marketing, business development, and leadership teams. 

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 
  • Experience with proposal development and pursuit marketing in the AEC industry. 
  • Graphic design experience or strong visual communication and layout skills preferred.
  • Experience with design platforms including Canva and Adobe Creative Suite preferred. 
  • Experience with content management systems, social media platforms, and digital marketing best practices including SEO, AEO, and analytics
