Job description

Company Description

Mirantis is the Kubernetes-native AI infrastructure company, enabling organizations to build and operate scalable, secure, and sovereign infrastructure for modern AI, machine learning, and data-intensive applications. By combining open source innovation with deep expertise in Kubernetes orchestration, Mirantis empowers platform engineering teams to deliver composable, production-ready developer platforms across any environment—on-premises, in the cloud, at the edge, or in sovereign data centers. As enterprises navigate the growing complexity of AI-driven workloads, Mirantis delivers the automation, GPU orchestration, and policy-driven control needed to manage infrastructure with confidence and agility. Committed to open standards and freedom from lock-in, Mirantis ensures that customers retain full control of their infrastructure strategy.

Job Description
  • Develop and maintain core positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions for Mirantis’ AI infrastructure and cloud-native platform portfolio.

  • Translate highly technical product capabilities — GPU cluster orchestration, multi-cluster Kubernetes management, MLOps pipelines — into audience-specific narratives for practitioners, platform engineers, and C-suite buyers.

  • Own the competitive intelligence function: track competitors including Red Hat OpenShift AI, NVIDIA Base Command, Rancher/SUSE, VMware Tanzu, and emerging AI cloud providers; produce battlecards, comparisons, and win/loss analysis.

  • Produce a steady cadence of high-quality technical content: solution briefs, white papers, blog posts, use case studies, reference architectures, and demo scripts.

  • Partner with solution architects and product managers to develop technical content that educates buyers on AI infrastructure patterns, including LLM inference at scale, GPU scheduling, and developer platform self-service.

  • Support demand generation campaigns with compelling assets aligned to key personas: AI/ML engineers, platform ops teams, and infrastructure decision-makers.

  • Build and maintain sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, battlecards, objection-handling guides, and ROI frameworks.

  • Partner with solution architects and sales teams to distill field learnings into sharper messaging and better-targeted content.

  • Support product launches with go-to-market plans, launch kits, and internal training materials.

  • Monitor trends across the AI infrastructure, cloud-native, and open-source ecosystems to surface market insights that inform GTM strategy.

  • Support analyst and media briefings; contribute to Mirantis’ positioning in key industry conversations and reports.

  • Represent Mirantis’ platform perspective at industry events, webinars, and community forums as a subject matter resource.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or a closely adjacent role (solutions marketing, developer marketing, content strategy) within the cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or enterprise software space.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and credibly communicate complex technical concepts related to:

    • Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native platforms

    • AI/ML infrastructure, including model serving, inference, GPU resource management, and MLOps tooling

    • Hybrid and multi-cloud deployment patterns across AWS, GCP, and Azure

  • Strong writing and storytelling skills — able to produce clear, engaging content for both technical and business audiences without heavy editing.

  • Experience developing sales enablement materials and working directly with sales and pre-sales teams.

  • Familiarity with the competitive landscape across cloud infrastructure, AI platforms, and open-source ecosystems (e.g., Red Hat, NVIDIA, Canonical, Rancher/SUSE, HashiCorp).

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, distributed environment with a high degree of autonomy.

Soft Skills and Team Fit

  • Intellectually curious with a genuine interest in how AI infrastructure works under the hood.

  • Strong cross-functional collaborator — comfortable engaging with engineers, product managers, and executives alike.

  • Structured thinker who can manage multiple projects and deadlines without losing narrative coherence.

  • Passion for open source, developer communities, and the cloud-native ecosystem.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward shipping content and iterating quickly.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, MLflow, Kubeflow, Ray, or similar infrastructure tooling.

  • Background in or exposure to AI/ML engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering.

  • Prior experience in or familiarity with companies like RunPod, SpectroCloud, Rafay, Anyscale, Hugging Face, Together AI, or Modal.

  • Experience supporting analyst relations or contributing to industry research and reports.

  • CNCF ecosystem knowledge or cloud/Kubernetes certifications a plus.
