Adobe Workfront Configuration Consultant
Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Position Overview
This individual will serve as the primary subject matter expert for Adobe Workfront and Adobe Fusion, helping optimize workflows, automate processes, improve content management operations, and guide future platform roadmap initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine strategic planning capabilities with strong technical configuration experience and be comfortable operating as both an advisor and hands-on contributor.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary Adobe Workfront subject matter expert for the Digital Marketing team.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Adobe Workfront to support marketing operations, project management, and content workflows.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable Workfront solutions.
  • Develop and maintain roadmap recommendations for future platform enhancements and process improvements.
  • Design, implement, and optimize workflows, templates, forms, dashboards, approvals, reports, and automation within Workfront.
  • Leverage Adobe Fusion to build, troubleshoot, and maintain workflow automations and integrations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, governance, visibility, and operational maturity across marketing processes.
  • Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to internal team members as they continue building expertise within the Adobe ecosystem.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to resolve challenges.
  • Document configurations, processes, and best practices to support long-term sustainability and platform adoption.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience administering, configuring, or consulting on Adobe Workfront.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Fusion, including workflow automation design and troubleshooting.
  • Experience leading Workfront configuration initiatives within enterprise environments.
  • Deep understanding of project intake, work management, resource planning, approval workflows, and content lifecycle management.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable platform solutions.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning and roadmap development with day-to-day configuration responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting marketing operations, digital marketing, creative services, or content management teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or broader Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions.
  • Experience with governance frameworks, platform adoption, and operational process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience training and mentoring internal teams on Workfront best practices.
