This Technical Writer position develops and maintains technical documentation supporting BIM Task Order operations including System/Subsystem Design Descriptions, operational procedures, user guides, and technical manuals. Job Responsibilities * Develop and maintain technical documentation supporting BIM Task Order operations including System/Subsystem Design Descriptions, operational procedures, user guides, and technical manuals * Prepare Contract Data Requirements List deliverables including technical reports, plans, and documentation packages * Writes clear, concise technical documentation for complex network systems and operations * Develop standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process documentation * Prepare system documentation including network topology descriptions, configuration guides, and operational manuals * Review technical content for accuracy and completeness * Maintain document version control and configuration management * Coordinate with subject matter experts gathering technical information for documentation development * Prepare proposal documentation and technical volumes * Develops training materials and user documentation * Edit and format technical documents ensuring consistency and professional presentation * Maintain documentation repositories and libraries Required Qualifications * Possesses Bachelor's degree in technical writing, English, communications, or related field. * Minimum 5 years of technical writing experience in IT, telecommunications, or engineering environments. * Proficiency with Adobe Technical Communication Suite and Microsoft Office. * Some travel may be required for his position (5% or less) * DoD Secret security clearance required or the ability to successfully pass a background check and obtain an interim Secret clearance.
