JOB POSITION: Full-Time, HVAC Technical Trainer

BRANCH LOCATION: City of Industry, CA

US Air Conditioning Distributors is a Bosch-owned HVAC equipment distributor with 52 locations in California, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, and Arizona, whose goal is to provide customers with what they need, when they need it, with incredible inventory selection and experienced, friendly personnel to assist the customer.
US Air Conditioning Distributors is currently seeking a skilled Technical Trainer to join our team in Customer Assurance at our fast-growing City of Industry location.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering product and technical training courses designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of installers and service technicians working with York products. This role will create and maintain an annual training schedule and conduct courses at the City of Industry hub as well as at various branch locations.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • HVAC trade school certification or associate degree in HVAC/R
  • EPA Section 608 Certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 5 years HVAC experience (i.e., performing services and installation)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Public speaking and presentation skills
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts
  • Ability to create engaging technical presentations and demonstrations
  • Ability to adapt training to different skill levels
  • Customer Service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Basic computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to travel to branch locations as needed
