Retail Sales Associate (Run Specialist)


Part-Time Positions Available

Culture Athletics is hiring passionate runners to join our growing team. Opportunities are available at both our East End and West End Toronto locations.


As a Sales Associate at Culture Athletics, you will greet, interact with, and support customers while delivering an elevated boutique retail experience. You will assess customer needs, provide technical product recommendations, and help create a welcoming environment that makes every customer feel part of our community.


We are looking for avid runners who are passionate about helping others achieve their goals — whether that's completing a first 5K, training for a marathon, or simply leading a more active lifestyle.

Compensation:

$17.95 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome customers in a friendly, engaging, and authentic manner
  • Deliver an elevated customer experience that exceeds expectations
  • Engage with customers, assess their needs, and provide personalized product recommendations
  • Develop deep product knowledge and confidently educate customers on footwear, apparel, nutrition, accessories, and other specialty running products
  • Perform shoe fittings and provide guidance based on customers' goals, experience, and preferences
  • Build meaningful relationships with customers and foster a welcoming, community-first atmosphere
  • Support day-to-day store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, receiving shipments, and maintaining store presentation standards
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered across all customer touchpoints
  • Collaborate with teammates to contribute to a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture

Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
  • Must be an active runner with a genuine passion for the sport
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, personable, and motivated with a strong desire to connect with people
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Interest in developing technical product knowledge within the running industry
