Re-posted 4 days ago

Job description

Rosehill Wine Cellars is one of Canada’s leading wine storage and wine cellar specialists. We work with clients across Canada on wine racks, wine cabinets, wine cooling systems, cellar accessories and custom wine cellar projects.

Our Mississauga showroom gives customers a place to explore product options, ask questions and get practical guidance before making a purchase. We are looking for someone who can represent the brand professionally, learn our product categories in depth and help customers feel confident in their decisions.

Rosehill Wine Cellars is looking for a Technical Showroom Sales Consultant to join our Mississauga team. This is a showroom and inside sales role focused on helping customers choose the right wine storage, wine cooling, custom wine cellar and wine accessory solutions.

This role requires someone who is comfortable working in Shopify and Shopify POS. The right person should be able to process showroom and phone orders accurately, look up products, manage customer information, support online order inquiries and keep sales activity organized through our systems.

This is not a general retail sales floor position. We are looking for someone with showroom, inside sales, technical sales, premium product, home improvement or specialty product experience who can combine strong customer service with accurate order processing and product knowledge.

About the Role

As a Technical Showroom Sales Consultant, you will support customers who contact us by phone, email, web inquiry and showroom visit. Some customers know exactly what they need. Others need help understanding the best option for their space, budget and application.

Your role is to qualify the customer’s needs, explain product options clearly, prepare quotes, process orders, manage Shopify POS transactions and support the customer through the sales process. This role requires strong communication, organization, attention to detail and confidence using Shopify based sales systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet and assist showroom visitors in a professional and helpful manner
  • Respond to inbound customer inquiries by phone, email and web lead
  • Help customers choose wine racks, wine cabinets, cooling systems, accessories and related products
  • Use Shopify and Shopify POS to look up products, process orders, manage customer information and support sales activity
  • Process showroom orders, phone orders and online order inquiries accurately
  • Prepare quotes and sales orders with strong attention to product details, pricing and customer information
  • Ask the right questions to understand the customer’s space, goals, budget and timeline
  • Follow up with customers on quotes, product questions and open opportunities
  • Coordinate with internal team members on inventory, order details, shipping and project requirements
  • Maintain an organized showroom and ensure products are presented professionally
  • Learn product specifications, sizing, applications and installation considerations
  • Support both simple product purchases and more consultative custom project inquiries
  • Build trust with customers through clear communication, product knowledge and accurate follow through

Ideal experience may include showroom sales, inside sales, technical sales, design centre sales, trade counter sales, premium home products, construction products, appliances, HVAC, cabinetry, flooring, lighting, plumbing fixtures, home improvement, specialty products or a similar customer focused role.

You should be comfortable working with customers who expect knowledgeable advice, accurate information and professional service. You should also be comfortable using technology throughout the sales process, including product lookup, order entry, payment processing, customer records and follow up.

Required Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of experience in showroom sales, inside sales, technical sales or a similar consultative sales role

  • Able to work independently in a showroom and office environment

Nice to Have Experience

  • Experience with home products, construction products, appliances, HVAC, cabinetry, flooring, lighting, plumbing fixtures, wine products or luxury goods
  • Experience working with homeowners, designers, builders, contractors or trade customers
