Nightwing is seeking an experience Technical Lead. In this role, responsibilities would include overseeing technical strategy, setting architectural direction, establishing engineering solution, ensuring quality, mentoring staff, collaborating with other departments, and solving complex problems to meet project deadlines and budgets. The role requires strong leadership and technical expertise implementing enterprise grade systems for Intelligence Community mission areas, with duties like code reviews, system design, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance, set the technical vision, and make critical decisions that shape project direction.
  • Oversee project plans, schedules, and milestones to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
  • Mentor, coach, and motivate team members; conduct code reviews and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve technical processes, tools, and procedures for greater efficiency.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, write progress reports, and present project status to senior management.
  • Stay current with the latest technology trends and help the team adopt new tools and practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have 14 years of related experience
  • Must have 5 years' experience supporting the mission
  • An additional 6 years' experience can be substituted with a Bachelor's degree and 4 years' experience can substituted with an Associate's degree.
  • A Bachelor's Degree and 5 years additional related work experience maybe substituted for a Master's degree.
  • Deep understanding of software development methodologies and a relevant technology stack.
  • Understanding of methodologies for integrating and modernizing applications (e.g., strangler fig pattern, API-Gateways)
  • Proficiency in agile framework, processes, and principles
  • Proficiency with DevSecOps principles and processes (e.g., CI/CD, TDD, feature flags, canaries)
  • Proficiency with microservices and cloud architectures (e.g., Kubernetes, AWS)
  • Experience in the Intelligence Customer space.
  • Current TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience with project management, risk analysis, and technical architecture.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

The salary associated with this position $122,000-$253,000 is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
