Your Impact:

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Assist service teams across locations in diagnosing and resolving complex equipment issues
  • Provide expert guidance to Mustang Power Systems shop & field service teams (Large Bore 290, Marine, EPG, Tomball, Waller)
  • Collaborate with Caterpillar engineers via DSN to resolve critical issues

Failure Analysis & Problem Resolution

  • Conduct applied failure analysis and manage technical service requests
  • Work with district CAT Representatives to resolve warranty concerns
  • Develop cost-effective solutions for equipment performance issues

Training & Collaboration

  • Mentor dealer technicians to enhance technical proficiency
  • Assist sales & parts teams with technical product knowledge
  • Work closely with Caterpillar to improve equipment performance and service processes
What You Bring:

Education & Experience:

  • Degree in Diesel Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Caterpillar engines & power systems

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in internal combustion engines (spark vs. compression ignition)
  • Ability to read schematics, engineering drawings & machining specs
  • Proficiency in precision measuring tools & dyno testing procedures
  • Familiarity with CAT diagnostic & service systems
