Surgical Technologist / Operating Room Technician
Are you a skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist passionate about patient care and surgical excellence? Join our hospital-based surgical services team in Dana, Iowa, where you'll play a key role in supporting surgical procedures and ensuring the highest standards of safety and care. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and contribute to a collaborative, compassionate healthcare environment.

What You'll Do
Prepare Surgical Suites
Ensure the operating room is sterile and equipped with the necessary instruments, supplies, and technology for a successful procedure.
Support Intraoperative Care
Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, maintaining sterile technique, and anticipating surgical team needs.
Maintain Surgical Standards
Adhere to strict infection control policies and aseptic practices to protect patient safety and surgical outcomes.
Facilitate Turnover and Recovery
Help prepare the OR for subsequent surgeries by cleaning, sterilizing instruments, and resetting supplies.
Collaborate Across the Surgical Team

Qualifications
Education & Certification:
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
