IT Support TechnicianThe IT Support Technician is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to employees. This role supports hardware, software, network, and system related issues while ensuring timely resolution and maintaining a high level of customer service. The IT Support Technician assists with onboarding and offboarding processes, workstation setup, troubleshooting, system maintenance, and overall technology support to ensure business operations remain efficient and secure.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other technology equipment.Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, and system access issues.Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and peripherals.Assist employees with password resets, account access, and user permissions.Support onboarding and offboarding processes including equipment setup and recovery.Monitor and respond to IT support tickets in a timely and professional manner.Track, organize, and maintain inventory records, IT equipment, technology assets, and software licenses.Assist with system updates, patches, and preventative maintenance.Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.Coordinate with the central IT and Software Engineering teams when escalation is needed.Assist with maintaining network infrastructure including switches, wireless access points, and internet connectivity.Ensure compliance with company IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and data protection requirements.Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system changes.Support warehouse or operational technology systems as needed.Assist with phone systems, conferencing equipment, and remote access support.Participate in IT projects, upgrades, and system implementations.Performs other duties as assigned.Required Skills and AbilitiesBasic understanding of computers and technology.Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and standard business applications.Familiarity with basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and wireless networks.Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues efficiently.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a professional and patient demeanor.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive company information appropriately.Ability to adapt quickly to changing technology and business needs.Ability to work in fast paced operational environments including warehouse and office settings.Ability to lift and move computer equipment.Reliable transportation to the warehouse location.Education and ExperiencePursuing a degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience with: Windows computers.Printers or scanners.Hardware troubleshooting.Asset tracking or inventory management.Warehouse or logistics environments.Previous customer service or technical support experience.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend.Ability to install and move computer equipment.Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments.Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.1 Click Logistics is an equal opportunity employer.
