Job Title: IT Sales Executive

Status: Exempt

Reports To: VP of MTI

ABOUT THE ROLE:


The IT Sales Executive is a hunting role focused on winning net-new logos (ZBA accounts) in the Atlanta Market for Milner Inc. You will drive new business across our full IT portfolio, including: Managed Services (MSP), IT Hardware, Product-Based Work, Cloud, SaaS, and Cybersecurity. 


You will be responsible for active weekly prospecting, building a robust 18+month pipeline, and working closely with the imaging/copier sales team and internal support teams to capture and close new opportunities. 


KEY REPOSNSIBILITIES:


New Business Development & Hunting

  • Act as a primary hunter focused on net-new logos / ZBA accounts in the Atlanta territory.
  • Conduct active weekly prospecting (cold outreach, referrals, social selling, inbound follow-up).
  • Target a minimum of 10 qualified appointments per week (in-person or virtual).
  • Build and maintain an extensive 18+ month pipeline of opportunities across MSP, hardware, projects, cloud, SaaS, and cybersecurity.

Collaboration with Imaging/Copier Sales & Brand Building

  • Engage in QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) with the imaging/copier sales team to:
    • Introduce and position MTI offerings.
    • Identify IT opportunities within copier/imaging accounts.
  • Attend networking events and industry functions to build the Milner brand and generate net-new interest.
  • Provide ongoing training and development on MTI offerings to the imaging/copier salesforce to help them uncover IT leads.

CRM & Operational Discipline

  • Actively manage AgentDealer/Salesforce daily, including:
    • Logging calls, meetings, and activities.
    • Updating opportunity stages, forecasts, and next steps.
    • Maintaining clean and accurate account/contact data.
  • Use CRM data to manage territory, prioritize outreach, and provide accurate pipeline and forecast visibility.

Deal Execution & Internal Alignment

  • Manage the full sales cycle from discovery to close for MSP, hardware, projects, cloud, SaaS, and cybersecurity deals.
  • Collaborate with technical and support teams to scope, price, and drive deal completion through implementation.
  • Participate in weekly 1:1s with your sales leader to review activity levels, pipeline health, key pursuits, and action plans.

METRICS FOR SUCCESS

  • Consistently averages 10+ qualified appointments  per week.
  • Builds and maintains a strong 18+ month pipeline (7x quota coverage).
  • Delivers net-new logo (ZBA) wins and new revenue across target offerings.
  • Maintains high-quality, up-to-date data and reliable forecasting in AgentDealer/Salesforce.
  • Generates IT opportunities and cross-sell from QBRs and collaboration with the imaging/copier sales team.

QUALIFICATIONS


Required

  • Proven B2B hunting experience, ideally in IT services, MSP, cloud, SaaS, or related technology.
  • Demonstrated success acquiring net-new logos and meeting/exceeding quota.
  • Strong understanding of IT concepts (managed services, infrastructure, cloud, SaaS, cybersecurity) or ability to ramp quickly.
  • Daily user of Salesforce/AgentDealer or similar CRM for activity and pipeline management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and disciplined around prospecting and follow-up.
  • Based in or near Peachtree Corners, GA, with the ability to be onsite with customers and team members.

Preferred

  • Experience selling MSP/managed services and recurring revenue contracts.
  • Existing relationships with IT  and business decision-makers in the Atlanta region.
  • Experience partnering with an imaging/copier  salesforce or similar channel.
  • Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, Solution Selling).

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • On-target earnings (OTE): 175,000+ USD base salary + uncapped commission

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Primarily onsite with some remote flexibility.
  • Work in areas which require attention to detail in a varied environment.
  • General office environment. May spend long hours sitting or standing.
  • Some physical effort is required which may involve bending, reaching, stretching.
  • Requires a valid state driver's license and minimum level of auto insurance coverage per company policy for position entails extensive use of personal car while on company business.
