About the Role

The Sales_Tech Representative at Restoration 1 of NW Cobb plays a key role in bridging technical fieldwork and customer relationships across water, fire, and mold restoration, as well as carpet, rug, and upholstery cleaning services.

This role is designed for a driven individual who thrives in both hands-on restoration work and customer-facing sales opportunities. You will serve as the first point of contact for homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters—assessing property damages, presenting restoration and cleaning solutions, and guiding clients through service options, memberships, and upgrades.

When not on an active restoration job, you’ll engage in local marketing, networking, and relationship building with referral partners to drive consistent growth and customer retention.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Sales

  • Conduct inspections for water, fire, and mold losses, as well as cleaning services.

  • Present service estimates and explain restoration/cleaning processes clearly.

  • Close core restoration jobs and offer additional cleaning or membership options.

  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with property owners or adjusters.

  • Follow up with past customers for satisfaction and review generation.

Technical Field Duties

  • Perform restoration and cleaning services according to company and IICRC standards.

  • Document jobs through photos, moisture readings, and daily notes using company software.

  • Ensure all equipment and vehicles are maintained and ready for deployment.

Marketing & Relationship Building

  • Network with insurance agents, property managers, and community partners.

  • Attend local events, BNI meetings, and marketing visits as assigned.

  • Promote company membership and referral programs to increase repeat business.

Team & Reporting

  • Collaborate with the office team for scheduling, invoicing, and follow-up.

  • Report daily activity, leads, and KPIs to management.

  • Maintain a professional, trustworthy image that represents the company’s values.

Compensation & Incentives

  • Base hourly pay plus commission on sales closed

  • Bonuses for:

  • Closing core restoration jobs in a timely manner

  • Upselling Carpet, Rugs and Upholstery cleaning and memberships

  • Securing customer reviews

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED (Required)

  • At least 1 year of experience in restoration, carpet cleaning, and/or air duct cleaning (Required)

  • Driver’s License and reliable transportation (Required)

  • Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, bend, squat, and stand for long periods

  • Comfortable with on-call rotations, nights, and weekends as needed

  • Strong work ethic, team player mentality, and integrity

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Familiarity with safety procedures and protective gear

  • IICRC certifications (preferred): e.g., WRT, FSRT, AMRT, CCT, etc.
