Job description

Please note relocation is required for this role to:

Deming, NM

Nuclear Medical Tech

Provides diagnostic aid to physicians by conducting organ or body scans on patients. Administers and records isotope dosages in accordance with established departmental protocol. Observes patients during procedures and reports any abnormal activity. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of approved program in Nuclear Medicine or other appropriate training
  • One year experience in Nuclear Medicine. Competent in components of Nuclear Medicine practice as appropriate.

  • Certified with the Society of Nuclear Medicine or eligible
  • NM Radiology Technologist License
  • BLS certification or obtain per policy upon hire
  • Maintain current BLS Certification
  • CNMT
