Job Title: Technology Support Specialist (Onsite)

Location: Dallas/Fort Worth, TX (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract (3โ€“5 Months)
Start: Immediate


Job Overview

We are seeking a Technology Support Specialist to join our onsite IT support team in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This role is ideal for a hands-on IT professional with strong desktop support and audio-visual (AV) experience, supporting day-to-day operations and large-scale office moves and renovations.

You will play a key role in ensuring seamless IT functionality, supporting end users, and maintaining conference room and collaboration technologies.


Key Responsibilities

End-User & Desktop Support

  • Provide onsite technical support for Windows and Mac systems
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
  • Support Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)
  • Manage and resolve tickets using a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow)


Audio-Visual (AV) & Conference Room Support

  • Support and troubleshoot meeting room technologies such as:
    • Microsoft Teams Rooms
    • Crestron systems
    • Polycom / Cisco conferencing tools
    • Surface Hub and other collaboration devices
  • Diagnose and resolve audio, video, and connectivity issues
  • Ensure meeting rooms are fully functional and ready for use


Onsite IT Operations

  • Provide support during office moves, setups, and relocations
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers and hardware devices
  • Perform asset management (tracking, shipping, receiving equipment)
  • Provide hands-on support such as cable tracing, port checks, and device setup
  • Deliver white-glove/VIP support when required


Required Qualifications

  • Onsite IT support / desktop support experience OR relevant degree
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and AV systems
  • Experience supporting Windows and Mac environments
  • Familiarity with Office 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)
  • Hands-on experience with conference room / AV technologies


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Crestron, or similar AV systems
  • Knowledge of basic networking (ports, connectivity, cabling)
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools
  • Prior experience supporting office relocations or large IT projects
