Technology Product Manager

What is the opportunity?

The Technology Product Manager is responsible for delivering the industry's leading technology platforms, helping firms by providing innovative and integrated technology tools for their advisors that supports our client's business growth. They work independently to manage a range of moderately complex products from development to delivery.

What will you do?

  • Define and communicate the Clearing & Custody product vision and strategy by delivering quality deliverables based on customer needs and competitive landscape.
  • Manage the product roadmap, life cycle, and deployment of enhancements in order to support our business goals, increase adoption, and delight clients.
  • Provide superior client experience and strengthen relationships within the project team at all levels of the organization, Project Sponsor, and Business/Technology Owners.
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues and external vendor partners, with frequent exposure to products, technology, service, finance, reporting, and operations.
  • Responsible for aligning the Clearing & Custody strategy and product vision with other US Wealth Management Product Managers and Capability Owners.
  • Manage product level communications, including status reports to all stakeholders. Responsible for soliciting stakeholder input on decision making.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of assigned products, the marketplace, and client needs to drive product growth/development and maximize profitability across varying stages of their life cycle. Research and support product success for the assigned products in order to achieve the business goals.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in financial services industry, preferably in the clearing industry or independent financial advisor space.
  • Experience in Product Management, operations, document management, client management preferred.
  • Previous experience managing multiple complex technology products.
  • Ability to take initiative, function independently, and work in a team
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects while ensuring that goals are met
  • Deep knowledge of Three Lines of Defense practices, tollgates, and evidence standards for closure; ability to design success criteria and assess the sufficiency of evidence.
  • Exceptional written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder influence and escalation judgment; ability to lead cross-functional forums and hold action owners accountable.
  • Ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to create, execute and maintain project documentation

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $70,000 - $130,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
