Description
Blue Mantis is looking to add another member to our growing team. This is an exciting position that is fast paced, requires proficient troubleshooting skills, and candidates must have excellent customer service skills and patience. As an IT Technician you will be responsible to provide support to various Blue Mantis clients remotely. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues on Windows client operating systems, MAC, as well as Microsoft server operating systems.
  • Manage help desk requests submitted by phone, email, or chat. Document all support requests and resolutions in a ticketing system.
  • Manage complex projects including on-prem to cloud conversions (Exchange to O365, server virtualization and migration to the cloud, etc)
  • Have a reliable vehicle to travel to customer locations to resolve requests that require an onsite visit. Mileage reimbursement will be provided.
  • Generate Certificate Signing Requests (CSRs) and private keys securely as well as installation and configuration on web servers like IIS


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 3-5 years of IT experience working remotely or onsite supporting end users. 
  • Related industry certifications preferred (A+, MCSE, MCSA, MCITP, CCNA, etc)
  • Supporting HP, Dell, Intel, or Lenovo client and server hardware
  • Supporting Windows operating systems such as Windows 10/11 and server operating systems ranging from 2012 to 2022
  • Virtualization technology including Hyper-V and VMWare ESXI Virtual Servers. 
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP
  • Network systems knowledge including switch management (variety of hardware vendors), VLANs, routing, firewall support including WatchGuard, SonicWALL, Cisco, and Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls. 
  • Microsoft 365 Administration
  • Wireless experience managing and supporting autonomous and managed access points.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or office support role.
