Aleknagik Technology, LLC (ATL) is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal to provide critical legal and administrative support to attorneys and investigators handling matters related to public safety oversight, regulatory compliance, enforcement actions, and legal policy. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing case files, conducting legal research, and assisting with litigation support and document preparation.

Description of Paralegal Work

  1. Legal Research and Analysis
  • Conduct legal research involving federal statutes, regulations, administrative law, civil rights requirements, and case law.
  • Utilize legal research databases including Westlaw, Westlaw Next, LexisNexis, and Lexis Advance.
  • Analyze legal authorities and summarize research findings for attorneys.
  • Verify legal citations and ensure legal documents meet required standards.
  • Draft legal memoranda, correspondence, reports, and research summaries.
  • Assist attorneys with legal analysis supporting investigations and enforcement actions.
  1. Litigation and Case Management Support
  • Collect, organize, review, and analyze factual information and documentary evidence.
  • Maintain complete and accurate legal case files throughout the lifecycle of each matter.
  • Assist with litigation support, including document preparation, discovery, trial preparation, and administrative proceedings.
  • Prepare exhibits, case summaries, witness files, and supporting documentation.

Experience
