Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Regional Manager to join our team in Tucker, GA.

Work Schedule:

Geography Covered: North Georgia, including Atlanta and the metro area

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; additional days and hours may be required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, managing budgets, and setting performance objectives.
  • Achieve business goals and revenue targets.
  • Recruit and train team members, support the general manager as well as conduct performance appraisals.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to supervisory staff.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relations.
  • Ensure company standards and procedures are followed
  • Plan, evaluate, and optimize operations to be efficient and cost-effective.
  • Monitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary.
  • Resolve any client related matters or customer complaints appropriately.
  • Ensure productivity, efficiency and inventory levels are properly maintained.
  • Complete regular and timely financial analyses for all department-related positions
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual statements, analyses, and reports on operations and finances.
  • Report on any performance, compliance or staffing related issues and work with the appropriate departments toward resolution.
  • Perform operational duties such as payroll and monthly schedules.
  • Manage costs effectively by minimizing employee turnover and controlling overtime costs.
  • Prepare specimens when needed.
  • Travel to additional sites as necessary
  • Overall accountability for facilities management, logistics, supplies and accessioning. Play an integral role in the development and execution of the region's growth strategy
  • Develop, oversee and provide support to a team of managers across all functional areas
  • Develop a positive work environment and drive employee engagement to improve performance and reduce employee turnover
  • Continuously monitor the productivity of the operations team to ensure optimization
  • Monitor the overtime & agency spend and overall budget on a regular basis
  • Work cross functionally within the division to create efficiencies and improve production

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 years or more of experience managing several direct reports

Preferred Qualification:

  • Associate's degree
  • Current or prior Labcorp experience
  • 10 years or more of experience managing several direct reports

Additional Job Standards

  • Minimum of 6 years or relevant job experience
  • Strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage and mentor a team
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external customers
  • Ability to problem solve and provide solutions under minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • High level of attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable making decisions in a changing environment
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Proficient with MS Office programs
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Experience with managing costs and the overall budge
