* Worksite: Leading medical provider (Urbana, IL 61801 - Onsite)
* W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
* 36 hours/week, 3 Month Assignment
A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality radiologic support during invasive cardiology and interventional radiology procedures, assist physicians throughout procedures, and deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.
Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities:
* Assist physicians during invasive cardiology and interventional radiology procedures by preparing equipment, maintaining a sterile field, and providing procedural imaging support.
* Operate radiologic imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to radiation safety standards and established clinical protocols.
* Prepare, position, and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and timely care throughout the procedural process.
* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members to support efficient procedural workflow and deliver exceptional patient care within the Heart & Vascular Institute.
* Maintain accurate patient documentation, procedure records, and imaging data while ensuring compliance with departmental policies, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance standards.
Radiologic Technologist Qualifications:
* Associate's degree in a related field OR Certificate of Completion from an accredited Radiology Program.
* Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) License in Radiologic Technology.
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
* Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
* Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registration in Radiography.
* Experience supporting invasive cardiology, interventional radiology, or cardiovascular procedures is preferred.
* Knowledge of sterile techniques, radiation safety practices, procedural imaging, and patient care standards.
Shift:
* Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.
* 4x9-hour shifts per week.
