Job description

Key Duties:

  • Provide technical assistance and support for computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Respond to incidents and inquiries in person, via email and over the phone in a timely and professional manner.
  • Guide remote users through problem-solving processes and procedures.
  • Provision, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment, including toner replacement
  • Install computer peripherals and configure software for users.
  • Track inventory for IT assets, systems and software licenses.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education: 

  • High School Diploma
  • Currently a college Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems (CIS), Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related IT field.
  • IT Technical courses and certifications a plus
  • Working knowledge of Windows 11 OS, enterprise desktop applications, and functionality.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good organizational skills with aptitude for a structured work environment.
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 40 lbs.

Additional Information:

  • This is an on-site role; candidates should be available to work standard business hours and respond to equipment-related requests in person when needed
  • This internship is a 6-month term with the potential to extend based on performance and business needs
