The Associate Director, Technology Solutions devises an effective strategy for executing and delivering on IT business initiatives. The Associate Director, Technology Solutions requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across department(s).**This position requires a physical residence and in-office presence in one of the following office locations: Dallas/Frisco, TX, Louisville, KY, Arlington, VA, DC/Baltimore Metro area. **

The Associate Director, Technology Solutions acts as a liaison and collaborates with the business and functional stakeholders to identify and deliver strategic enablement solutions. Decisions are typically related to identifying and resolving complex technical and operational problems within department(s) and could lead multiple managers or highly specialized professional associates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical decision-making

    • Ability to evaluate architecture options, delivery risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.

  • Engineering team leadership

    • Experience leading Agile teams, coaching engineers, removing blockers, and improving delivery maturity.

  • Strategic execution

    • Ability to convert enterprise priorities into actionable technology initiatives and measurable delivery outcomes.

  • Operational excellence

    • Focus on reliability, observability, incident prevention, cost management, and continuous improvement.

  • Responsible for managing Healthcare Products, from design to deployment, and implementation support efforts

  • Should be able to contribute to building and maintaining modern applications with cloud native architecture

  • Manage top-down oversight throughout the entire execution to ensure successful delivery in adherence stakeholder goals

  • Lead a team of Scrum Master/Managers and ensure progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects

  • Should be able to own the delivery team as a supervisor and manage their performance

  • Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones

  • Ensure processes are adhered to and product vision is implemented in timely manner.

  • Hands on implementing code review with the broader development teams.

  • Understanding risks, dependencies and increasing value delivered through the project / product life

  • Update and maintain all production technologies ensuring proper maintenance and installation

  • Develop comprehensive project/ product plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical, as required

  • Ensure the team maintains the required documentation for knowledge management

  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives

  • Ability to work well with diverse teams, including developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, and operations.

  • Execute all aspects of large construction projects, refresh, retrofits, from planning to implementation to completion

  • Approves concept designs, deliver project schedule assign and allocate resources

  • Manages internal staff, hiring, mentoring, training and evaluating

  • Hire and manage contractors, architects, engineers and interface

  • Prepare and develop budget and manages the maintenance of the master budget and schedule

  • Documents all phases of the project prepares project status reports for Sr Management on a recurring basis throughout theproject, checking milestones.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 6 or more years of technical leadership experience

  • 2 or more years of management experience

  • Solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes

  • Possess 10+ years of progressive experience leading continuous improvement efforts, evaluating existing systems and implementing process improvements.

  • Experience with AI technology with AI first mind set and automating solutions.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


$142,300 - $195,700 per year


This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
