Job description

Requisition Summary

The Aftersales Technology Director is responsible for defining and executing the Global Aftersales Technology Roadmap. The Global Aftersales Technology Roadmap is designed to balance the needs and requirements of Global Divisions, dealers and customers, into large systems projects. To achieve this, the Director will keep up with emerging technologies and understand the needs of PACCAR dealers and customers. This key role includes leading a team of approximately 14 and growing individuals, executing aftersales technology programs, and contributing to the development of Aftersales technology strategies.

Job Functions & Responsibilities

The Aftersales Technology Director will oversee decisions on scope, approach, resources, and funding for approved projects. Collaborating with ITD and cross divisional executive stakeholders, the Director is responsible for ensuring successful project delivery, aftersales product management and effective communication at all levels. They have the authority to make critical project decisions even when divisions disagree. They will be involved in regular interactions with truck division aftersales teams, Dealers and Fleets to ensure we are factoring in the voice of the customer.

The Director will be responsible for business support and continued enhancement of aftersales solutions, ensuring the following:

  • Ownership of the business case
  • Alignment with organizational strategy
  • Representation of stakeholder requirements deliver solutions meeting PACCAR, dealer and customer needs
  • Ensuring timely and equitable business decisions
  • Governance of project risk
  • Identification and focus on the realization of project benefits
  • Governance of Aftersales systems and prioritization of enhancements
  • Collaborate and consult with international counterparts
  • Managing product enhancements to meet customer needs and improve customer experience

Qualifications & Skills

  • 10+ years of industry experience leading high-performing teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required, MBA highly desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet objectives that support division sales and service goals.
  • Managed and governed large and complex set of global systems.
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to motivate and develop employees.
  • Excellent presentation and influencing abilities.
  • Able to travel up to 40%

Salary Range

At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $126,500 - $192,500 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
