The Mobile Application Architect will be responsible for setting the technical direction and architecting enterprise mobile applications for our Fortune 500 client base. You will be working with an established and well-organized world-class mobility team with a global presence and diverse skill set including some of the best talent in mobile usability, design, development and QA. You will collaborate with cross-functional project teams to produce enterprise class mobile applications that ensure seamless connectivity with the enterprise and across desktop, tablet, and phone. You will collaborate with internal senior management as well as senior technical managers and architects from our customer base to envision, architect, design, and deliver mobile applications. You will use your proven experience in enterprise application development and mobile technologies to build and lead distributed development teams to bring world-class mobility products to market. As an integral part of the Mobility Practice, you will bring a level of knowledge and expertise to the team related to enterprise thinking including service oriented architectures, security, identity management, data encryption techniques, and cross-platform frameworks.

Qualifications

Essential Job Functions

 Develop and document detailed enterprise mobile architecture solutions for complex global enterprise customers.

a Serve as the Lead for the app development teams, support the technical deliverables from requirements phase through final app deployment

Participate in development activity, code review sessions and mentor junior team members

Translate business needs and product requirements into system level architecture and high-level design that can be re-used across applications.

Understand enabling components: security, infrastructure, EMM, application development platforms, user experience, governance, methodology, MCoE.

Deliver roadmaps that enhance operational efficiency and provide visionary guidance for project solutions.

Defining the architecture, components, modules, interfaces, and data for a system to satisfy specific customer business requirements

Optimize mobile performance and application scalability

Play an important role in improving the teamas technical depth and efficiency.

Foster an environment of consistent technical achievement and innovation for the growth and success of the team.

Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards.

Skills and Experience

Bacheloras Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related disciplines and 10+ years experience in professional software development.

At least 5 years in roles including architecture, development and technical leadership.

Hands-on development experience

Demonstrated success in facilitating strategy/innovation sessions with both business and technology participants

Demonstrated ability to produce, manipulate, implement or enhance Enterprise Architecture concepts, roadmaps, principles and effective strategies.

Demonstrated knowledge and skills in Application Architecture and Data Architecture

Strong knowledge of the mobile market including emerging technologies, EMM solutions, network architecture and other mobile technology.

Strong hands-on understanding of industry best practices for mobile app development

At least 5 years of experience with mobile technology landscape including:

iOS (Cocoa, Swift, Objective C, C++, iPhone SDK)

Android (Android Framework, Java)

Mobile Web (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, RWD, mobile-first frontend frameworks)

Experience in the following technology areas is a plus (SAP/SUP, Kony, AIRWatch, Phonegap, Appcelerator, Xamarin, EMM, MDM, MAM, MIM)

Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; presents technically complex concepts in a way to foster understanding and acknowledgement of critical information

Strong analytical and conceptual design skills; strong problem-solving skills

At least 3 years experience in Client facing role with good presentation skills and a dynamic and engaging presentation style that commands respect, inspires confidence and earns trust.

Well versed in agile methodologies

English: Fluent. Excellent communication skills across all levels; ability to communicate complex, technical concepts to our customers business and technical leaders and internally to our management and technical staff.
